Hunt Missouri Outfitters was established in 2024 with a vision of providing hunters with a high-quality, low-pressure hunting experience built around strong wildlife management, hard work, and genuine hospitality. Located in the heart of Missouri, our hunts are centered around carefully managed properties, most of which are family-owned land that has been cared for and improved over generations.
The idea for Hunt Missouri Outfitters was inspired by Mitch’s time working as a packer/assistant guide in Kodiak. Spending time guiding hunters in Alaska taught him the importance of preparation, attention to detail, and creating an experience that hunters will remember long after the season ends. Mitch wanted to bring that same mindset back home to Missouri and build an outfitter focused on quality over quantity.
At Hunt Missouri Outfitters, we intentionally keep hunting pressure low by limiting the number of hunts offered each season. Our goal is to give every hunter the best opportunity possible while maintaining the integrity of the land and the overall hunting experience.
We take pride in offering honest hunts, hardworking service, and a welcoming environment where hunters can enjoy everything that makes Missouri deer hunting special. Mitch Martinez- Guide/Owner
Mitch Martinez is the heart behind Hunt Missouri Outfitters, driven by a lifelong passion for the outdoors and a deep respect for the land. An avid hunter himself, Mitch has pursued game across the country, including 4 mountain goat seasons spent as a packer/assistant guide in Kodiak, Alaska—an adventure that sharpened both his skills and his appreciation for the hunt.
Beyond guiding, Mitch is a dedicated farmer who works cattle and spends his days closely connected to the land he manages. That hands-on experience gives him a unique understanding of wildlife, habitat, and what it takes to create consistently successful hunts.
Today, his focus is on creating unforgettable and rewarding experiences for his hunters.
When he’s not in the field or working the farm, Mitch enjoys life in Macon County, Missouri with his wife and their three daughters, passing on his love for the outdoors to the next generation.
